April 15: Asia in Amsterdam
Got a private tour this morning of the wonderful "Asia in Amsterdam" show at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. Saw some exquisite works of art, including textiles, books, paintings, ceramics, and decorative housewares, that reflected, in part, the influence of Asian arts and culture on the Netherlands during its Golden Age in the 17th century.
